Meet the team

The faces behind the iconic venues you know from
around our great state of Western Australia.

Tim McLernon
General manager

  • I started in hospitality 30 years ago as a glassy at Emporio Tavern in the CBD where I was taught what I needed to know by Pat Kenny, an icon of the industry.

I found the Stables Bar site in 2013 and knew straight away that it would become an awesome and unique bar.

Over the last ten years, Three Pound Group has evolved and grown with the hard work of thousands of great staff.

  • Watching Dua Lipa at The Camfield for the NOVA Red Room in 2018.

  • Swan Draught at all venues. Can’t go wrong.

  • Born into Hospo from an early age, it was the people that you have the privilege of meeting and connecting with every day that I fell in Love with! The customers, the staff, the suppliers, the entertainers – everyone you meet along the way. It’s why I turn up to work each day!

  • Slinging the doors open at The Camfield on its first day of trade! 4 years of planning, building and preparing what would become an amazing venue… Was a surreal and rewarding moment.

  • We are in Perth not Sydney so its Parmi for me.

executive chef

  • Having a country upbringing it was always the local produce that pulled me into hospitality. Working alongside the growers, producers, and suppliers and creating dishes for customers to enjoy.

I mostly love working with people from all around the world. It’s great to share experiences and learn new skills from one another.

  • Opening The stables Bar was my favourite moment, seeing it grow over the years and still be one of the most popular venues in the city is very rewarding.

  • The slow-cooked lamb shoulder will always be my favourite dish, served at The Stables Bar.

It’s been on the menu for nearly 10 years and continues to be one of the most popular dishes there.

ADAM ZURZOLO
OPERATIONS MANAGER

  • I came into Hospitality by chance around nine years ago and never looked back. I started off as a humble yardie at Stables and have progressed through the different venues to where I am now. I love the social aspect and the fact that you get to see new faces every day, at their best and at their worst. I've been with the company my whole career and have seen it transform from a single venue operation to the hospitality powerhouse that it is today. TPG has great people and personalities throughout and has always been a pleasure to work for.

  • The 2018 AFL Grand Final that WCE won. The atmosphere in venue was like nothing I'd ever seen before. We were at capacity and after the win, it was the biggest party vibe I'd ever seen in my life.

  • Eagles... who are the Dockers?

  • After 20 years in marketing (wow, that makes me sound old) working with various industries, I have found my place working in hospitality - particularly with this Group. I’ve worked with TPG for over 2 years now, and I’ve loved every second of it. It is the ability to work alongside an incredible team that pushes us all to be at the top of our game. Plus just the opportunity to work with a team that feels like a family and a team that values its customers makes me feel very privileged to hold my position.

Personally, TPG has always been a sentimental favourite for me. When the Stables first opened, I was its biggest fan and, needless to say, it is so special to be on the other side of the bar contributing to its (and all the other venues’) ongoing magic.

  • I have SO many. But I can’t go past the week leading up to and including the ‘21 AFL Grand Final at Optus Stadium, along with everything it came with for the Camfield. I mean, when is that ever going to happen again. :)

  • Without a doubt, G’s Spicy Marg at The Stables.

Rebecca Holben
Human resources

  • I’ve spent most of my working life in hospitality so when I returned to university, I knew it would be the perfect way to earn money while studying.

I started with Three Pound Group in 2018 as a casual bartender for the opening of the new Camfield venue and soon had the opportunity to progress into a Duty Manager role. I worked in this position for a few years, but as my studies in Human Resources progressed, I started to take an interest in the HR aspects of the group. I sort opportunities where I could work on smaller projects and the upper managers were happy to help along the way.

Since graduating I have had the opportunity to continue working with TPG and help create a HR Department with the group.

  • When considering this question, it wasn’t the great moments I’ve had over the years, but the people I’ve worked with along the way. In hospitality, it is definitely the team surrounding you that makes all the difference.

  • Pink Cadillac at The Reveley. Now off the menu but requesting a comeback.

KIMBERLEY BOSUSTOW
Function & Event MANAGER

  • Starting off as a Duty Manager at the Camfield in 2018, I then moved to the Reveley where I was Venue Manager and then went on to open the Elford.

While I love my new role as Functions and events manager, I am still a bartender at heart and will always jump behind the bar to help out on busy days.

  • The 13th of April 2021 - when the Reveley won the Perth Corporate Cup.

  • Definitely beer or a really dirty Gin Martini - just give me a jar of olives.
